Video above is a one-on-one interview with Bryce Harper by ABC 7's Britt McHenry. Interestingly (or not), WJLA's sports anchor Tim Brant introduces the clip by comparing the Harper hype in Viera on Monday to Bieber Fever. We beg to differ, Tim: Isn't Bieber Fever an affliction that impacts mostly 12 year old girls? Was there anyone under 30 pushing pens and baseballs in Harper's face on Monday? Anyway, the interview is worth your time.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday the Nationals carted off young Harper on a golf cart after practice to protect him from the autograph hounds, as Tweeted by the Washinton Post's Adam Kilgore:
Today, Bryce Harper was driven off the field in a golf cart, as was Jayson Werth.

Oh, look, on Wednesday, Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan refers to Harper as "Baseball Bieber" in a story (H/T Mister Irrelevant). So it's catching. And here's Passan describing Harper's golf cart ride yesterday, which nearly turned into a NatsFail:
The rescue operation lasted two minutes. The target leapt onto the back of a golf cart. The driver jerked it forward. The target almost fell off. He composed himself as the cart peeled around a corner and toward a white van. He hopped into the back of the van. It went around a fence, over a bump, through a parking lot, up Stadium Parkway a quarter-mile and into a handicapped parking spot. The van didn’t have a handicapped sticker.

The Biebs would never ride in a golf cart. Just sayin'.

Next logical step seems to be for a photoshopped picture of Harper with Bieber's hair.
