Not surprisingly, Bryce Harper has been named South Atlantic League player of the week for his baseball-mashing efforts over the last week.Via the Hagerstown Suns official website:
Harper hit .500 (12-for-24) with four doubles, one home run and four RBIs during the week. He had a .571 on-base percentage and a slugging percentage of .792 walked four times, recorded one stolen base and struck out just twice.
It was only a matter of time, right?
A little surprisingly, Byrce Harper now has a mustache. Now, our first thought when we caught sight of the first published photographic evidence of Bryce Harper's mustache taken on Mother's Day was: "that thing has to be Photoshopped". But alas, sources confirmed that it's real lip fur.
Some people have credited Harper's all-out assault on Sally League pitching (after a "slow" start) to his new contact lenses. Perhaps some credit should go to the new 'stache?

That stache is trash.

Yeah, great, Bryce is killing low-A pitching. How many more ABs does Rizzo need to see there? How about a callup to the P-Nats?

i completely agree with rollie fingers. rizzo needs to pull his head out and move him up already, how many times does he need to prove him wrong?
