The video above (via @ItsLuisF) might be the most compelling footage yet of Jayson Werth's victory run in the Presidents Race on Saturday. Be sure to turn the sound up...
From here on out, for better or for worse, let Jayson Werth be known around town as The Bull Moose:
"Well, if Teddy can't win, then no one wins in my book...I'm the last remaining member of the Bull Moose Party, I guess. I don't really know what else to say."

From Wiki: The Progressive Party of 1912 was an American political party. It was formed after a split in the Republican Party between President William Howard Taft and former President Theodore Roosevelt.
The party also became known as the Bull Moose Party when former President Roosevelt boasted "I'm fit as a bull moose," after being shot in an assassination attempt prior to his 1912 campaign speech in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

A mature male moose is called a Bull Moose, that describes the mature leader of the Nats well!

Hope Werth's nickname can be "Bull Moose" and not "Bull Sh**" for the next 6 years he has left in DC. Year 1 was not good.
