So right there's a photo (via @heatherdownen) of Ryan Zimmerman and his dog Miley clearing out his cubby at Nationals Park on Monday. (That's a whole lot of bobbleheads in the neighboring locker.)
Just wondering: On Mike Rizzo's offseason to-do list, where does signing Ryan Zimmerman to a long term deal rank among the other issues -- including, in no particular order and not limited to: leadoff hitter, center fielder, manager, bench, starting pitching? Because just two short years from now, a photo of Ryan Zimmerman clearing out his locker at the end of the season could be pretty damn scary, you know?

Maybe that's why Rizzo drafted Rendon.

Not that my opinion matters but this needs to be a priority this off-season. There is nobody better at 3rd base based on 162 game season.
Only negative is Zim finishing a full season healthy. To tie up Zim for the next 7 to 10 years is good on both sides and for the franchise.
Think of signing him as you would if he was a Free Agent on another team.
