With reports on Friday of Stan Kasten partnering with Magic Johnson and rich guy Mark Walter in an effort to buy the Dodgers, one has to wonder if Stan had already started organizing Phillies fan party busses to LA for the Dodgers-Phillies series starting July 16? 2,700 miles is a long drive for a party bus, though. Maybe he'll fly them all in?
Stan, if you're reading this:it's a shorter drive from SF to LA. Might be simpler (and more cost effective) to organize a fleet of Giants fan party busses, block off entire sections of the stadium, and welcome them with open arms to your new home field. You have to know your market, Stan, as you well know.
Good luck in LA, Stan. Keep an eye out for your old buddy Jim Bowden while you're out there.
Funny thing is, Stan never apologized for the Opening Day fiasco in 2010. Maybe that's not funny thing. I will never forgive him.

Yeah and phillies fans are stupid enough to travel the distance.

I really think he just might get Padre fans to come on up...its a bit closer than S.F.

It was absolutely embarrasing when Phillies fans brought "Citizen Bank 2" signs to Nats Park (http://www.ballparkbanter.com/2011/10/nats-won-on-field-but-philly-fans.html), but it was pretty rewarding when we were able to take the series from them. Especially the night when Zimmerman had his walkoff homer after midnight.
