To celebrate Michael Morse's return to the Nationals' lineup yesterday (1-2 in his first game since that pesky lat strain), enjoy the image above: a 1-of-1 2012 Topps Tribute autographed Mike Morse card up for sale on on eBay, inscribed with "The Beast". Here's Morse on his return yesterday:
"There’s still no rush. I could go out there and throw and play, and if I hurt myself it might still affect me when the season starter." (Michael Morse, via Washington Post, 3/12/2012)
And in other crucial Michael Morse news, via his Facebook page, Morse has selected Pat Benatar's "Shadows of the Night" as one of his walkup songs for the upcoming year. Does this mean no more "Take on Me"?:
He has said that he will have several songs and Take On Me is one of them.

Morse would like roughly 40 to 50 at-bats during the spring to feel ready for the season, which should not be a problem for him.
