Key takeaways from new MASN sideline reporter Kristina Akra's postgame interview with Jayson Werth Tuesday night (video here): Jayson Werth is really tall (6'5"). Kristina Akra is not. The height differential on TV was startling.
Nationals 6, Mets 2: Ian Desmond leads game off with a bomb; Ross Detwiler goes five good innings; Ryan Zimmerman drives in RBI 500 of his career; Jayson Werth breaks out with a 4-5, 2 RBI game, raises BA from .071 to .263.
Stephen Strasburg vs. Johan Santana Wednesday afternoon. Smart money's on Stras.

He moves well for a guy 6'5. Had no idea he was this tall. He doesn't look it in person.

That was just ridiculous. They need to get her a stepladder. I'd like to see her interview Frank Howard sometime.

I wouldn't mind seeing her interview Hondo. I just wouldn't want to listen to it. She is a dud from what I've seen so far.

I agree with nationals anthems. Dud is a kind way to describe Akra's on air time thus far. She might be ready in a couple of years, but I don't think so.
