Despite whispers that Teddy might finally win one at the 2012 home opener: just another day at Nationals Park, and another loss by Teddy Roosevelt in the Presidents race. Up above, video of Teddy losing down the stretch, yet again. Boos rained down. Via the Washington Post's Adam Kilgore, unabashed Teddy supporter Jayson Werth commented on Teddy's loss after the game:
"What’s the poor guy got to do to get a win? A great American president. Just a great American, period." (Jayson Werth, via @AdamKilgoreWP, 4/12/2012)
Overheard at Nationals Park after the race was over: "Losing just isn't funny anymore."
So true.
My kids think its hilarious, however.

It is time to put this "tradition" to an end. No part of this franchise should be associated with perpetual losing. On that note, it is also far past time that "Clint" is shown the door. Both make the Nats organization look small time. They can do better. Much better.

Maybe they should let Jayson get into that Teddy suit and run them all down!!I love Jayson and Teddy. Love to see them both win!

Did anyone notice that the Shark told Zimm to hold up on the walk off wild pitch? Zim was like, "O no you didn't, move out of my way"! I'm surprised the Enquirer didn't capture that video curiosity.
