"I want it bad. I’ve been fighting for the opportunity for three years now. I feel like I’ve been over-stepped a few times along the way for the opportunity to get those saves, for whatever reason. I don’t really know. But they have a plan and I trust their plan. We’ve had a good year this year and we’ve been winning. You can’t really go against the grain as far that stuff is concerned. But, yeah, I would love an opportunity."

Sorry, Clipp: sounds like Davey will go with closer by committee until your buddy Storen gets back.
Just as long as that committee doesn't include Henry Rodriguez (ruined by Davey Johnson), the Nats should be OK.
Oh, and the screen grab above via the classic 2011 MASN videos: MTV Cribs-style tour of Drew Storen and Tyler Clippard's apartment, in which Clippard answers the door wearing a bike helmet; points a dart gun at the camera. Later, Clippard is found "sleeping" in his bed under a Justin Beiber table cloth with the TV tuned to Disney Channel.
Why do you think HRod is ruined? He still has the chance to have a fine career for the Nats. It's way too early for this verdict.

Davey Johnson "ruined" Rodriguez ?? Give me a break! Rodriguez does not currently have what it takes to be a closer and Davey gave him too many opportunities to succeed.
