Above, a photo of Bryce Harper in a tuxedo with CNN's Wolf Blitzer at Saturday night's Washington Nationals Dream Foundation Gala (photo via @wolfblitzer). Wolf is, like, old enough to be Bryce's great, great, great, great grandfather or something.
Of course, this photo was taken just a few hours after Harper's worst game as a pro, in which he went 0-7 with 5 Ks and ended the 14 inning heartbreaking loss against the Yankees with a first-pitch-swinging ground out with the tying run on first. Yeah.
Here's Davey Johnson on Harper's awful day at the plate:
"This is probably his first really tough game where he was overanxious. That's showing some of his inexperience. He was really amped up against Pettitte. I've never seen him swing at balls out of the zone and he was chasing balls. You get in that mode where you try to make something happen and that's part of youth."

Crappy day at the park on Saturday, though I only stayed 10 innings.
I sat at the next table over from Bryce, at Zim's table. That's my son Mike in the background between Wolf (always loved that name) and Bryce.
The line for pictures with Bryce was never-ending and he mugged it up for every person, including Uncle Ted's wife.
