And so, tonight is the long awaited return of Michael Morse to the Nationals lineup (weather permitting); Davey Johnson has him batting cleanup. We'll call it: Morsemas.
Meanwhile, after it was confirmed yesterday that Mike Morse really WAS on Twitter as @mlbeastmode38 -- despite a denial from Nats PR staff -- as of 4:30 PM Friday the @mlbeastmode38 account is "suspended" according to Twitter:
Maybe the Nats took away the keys to the Beast's Twitter account like they did to Bryce Harper? It certainly "seemed" real: By the looks of his 2nd Tweet he sent to ex-Seattle Mariners teammate Adam Jones on his new O's contract, it looked real. And the Miami Heat Tweets. Ex-teammate Collin Balester was certainly "fooled". And Morse admitted on Facebook that was him. And so on. Our best "guess" (*wink* *wink*) is that he breached Nats PR protocol, and so he got a talking-to and shut it down. And now, the coverup!

Alas, good to see him back and hope he can get into the swing of things asap. We've missed his bat and the threat of his spot in the line-up and wishing him a good season.
Given the weather, even if the game is eventually played (doubtful), it isn't worth putting him in the field for start-and-stops. A PH appearance perhaps, but just give him (and Flores, on a wet track) the night off for weekend games.
