"The excitement, it’s just one of those things you dream about. That’s exactly how I felt. I’m just smiling knowing I had that kind of support, that kind of love."

During Saturday night's broadcast, MASN's FP Santangelo mentioned that Gio Gonzalez's mom purchased 600 tickets for friends and family for Gio's first start back at home in Miami. 600 tickets!?
Marlins 2, Nationals 1. Gio outdueled by Mark Buerhrle in a battle of "What if?". Maybe Nats offense should refund all 600+ tickets to Gio's friends and family for not showing up?

BOY, THATS A LOT OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS, CAN YOU IMAGINE THANKSGIVING DINNER AT THE GONZALEZ HOME. MOM MUST COOK UP A STORM.
