And now the Washington Nationals bandwagon has a Commander in Chief. At this rate Mr. President, you might want to consider dumping that Joe Biden fellow and going with The Kid. In the video above via KSNV TV in Las Vegas (jump to the final minute), President Obama endorses Bryce Harper, says the Washington Nationals are his second favorite baseball team now:
"We were talking about one of the biggest stars right now in Washington, is Bryce Harper, who comes out of Nevada, and I know folks are really proud of him. He's doing great. And it's my second favorite team now, after the Chicago White Sox."
(President Barack Obama, via KSNV video, 7/9/2012)
Spoken like a true Washington sports fan. Just don't ask the Prez to name anyone else on the roster...
It's a lie. He has to spread his liking equally among all teams.

After what he pulled on Opening Day 2010, he has no spot on the bandwagon. This was pure, 100% pandering. I bet you that if asked to name a player on the Nats or White Sox, not named Harper or Youkilis, he couldn't do it.
