MLB Network's Ball Park Cam caught footage of Stephen Strasburg getting some work in at Busch Stadium this afternoon before NLDS Game 2. Thankfully, a Strasburg Shutdown debate did not ensue, unlike the the top of the third inning of Game 1, when TBS guys Dick Stockton and Bob Brenly began talking Strasburg Shutdown -- complete with shots of Stras sitting in the dugout looking like a rabid caged animal, such as the one below:

Although I am pulling for them, I believe the Nats will not get to the world Series and probably won't make it past the Cards in the NLDS. And the primary reason will be Strassberg sitting on the bench when the team desparately needs dependable starting pitching.
All fans should demand from team management an explanation of how they could sit one of their two aces with the post-season hanging in the balance. If it were possible, they should all be fired.
