While you're sitting around waiting for that three-year deal Adam LaRoche will probably sign with somebody (not the Washington Nationals), enjoy the video above for SAFE ("Seatbelts Are For Everyone"), in which LaRoche promotes seatbelt safety in his home state of Kansas.
Meanwhile, no seatbelts necessary in the slow lane that is the market for The Buck Commander. The Washington Post's Adam Kilgore wrote Monday that LaRoche doesn't seem to mind the pace. According to the Baltimore Sun, the Orioles are interested in LaRoche, but wary of losing their first-round pick in the 2013 draft to the Nats in return. But on Sunday, the Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo wrote in his Baseball Notes column that O's GM Dan Duquette "covets" LaRoche. Buckle up? Not necessary...
