So, earlier this evening we posted about Vegas sportsbook Bovada.com installing Stephen Strasburg as early 11/2 favorite to win 2013 NL Cy Young.
In a separate prop bet, oddsmakers have set the odds of hometown boy Bryce Harper winning 2013 NL MVP at 10/1; he's third behind Joey Votto (15/2) and Ryan Braun (9/1).Worth noting: odds of Stephen Strasburg winning MVP are 15/1; and Ryan Zimmerman at 25/1. Also, Harper is 30/1 longshot to hit the most home runs in 2013 regular season in MLB.
Now, go bet the house on some Nats...
Ryan Zimmerman winning NL MVP are slim to none. A 25/1 odd is generous.

What are you talking about? Zimmerman posted MVP numbers in the second half last year. 25/1 sounds reasonable.

25/1 is more than reasonable for Zimm

He is injury prone and a his fielding is a liability to the team. I stand by my statement that he doesn't have a realistic chance here.
