Of course going 4-5 in front of an announced crowd of 22,302 Marlins fans (in reality, probably half of that number were there) is not even remotely on the order of the Michael Jordan Flu Game (or was it food poisoning!?), but Bryce Harper registered a fairly impressive performance Wednesday night. Harper went 4-5, vomited in the 2nd inning, and beat out an infield hit despite battling a nasty flu bug for the past two days.
Here's Davey Johnson on Harper:
"I thought he was gonna die every time he went up there, and he got a hit. After three hits, you're think he's feeling great. But he didn't have a smile on his face the whole game...I'll give him off tomorrow, though."
