And so, while the Cleveland Cavaliers and Brooklyn Nets have apparently courted Phil Jackson about a coaching gig recently, Jayson Werth just wants Jackson to pay a visit to the Washington Nationals clubhouse, burn some sage, and adjust the feng shui:
"Somebody was talking about Phil Jackson the other day. We need to call him up, have him come in & burn some sage or something." - J. Werth

Werth was joking, of course, but given another bad loss today, fourth in a row, sixth in a row at home, and now sinking under .500 (10-11) for the first time since the last day of the 2011 season, it might be worth a shot to bring the Zen Master in to shake things up. Either that or install Henry Rodriguez at third and bat him cleanup. Or a rubber chicken sacrifice at Nationals Park on Thursday at high noon. Whatever works.
Go get 'em tomorrow. Gonna be alright.
