It took nine games, but at long last the first Nationals player of 2013 finally received a shaving cream pie during a postgame interview on MASN (video here on MASNSports.com). Ryan Mattheus on the receiving end of a towel full of shaving cream courtesy of Drew Storen after contributing two innings of relief:
Nationals 7, White Sox 4: Nats sweep White Sox. Zim makes Ventura pay for intentionally walking Harper to pitch to him. Dan Haren earns first win, kept the ball in the park this time around.
Bring on the Braves. Should be a fun weekend.

The Nats almost lost Ryan Mattheus to the DL after that hit to the face. He almost stumbled backwards down the dugout steps.
I cringed as he got dangerously close to the top step.
"Its all good fun until someone gets hurt" said by someone's Mother.
