"You know what, I’m not even going to entertain doom and gloom questions. I’m just not." (Jayson Werth, via Washington Times, 7/21/2013)
Fair enough. But would a question about, say, the NL East standings be considered doom and gloom? They'll be fine, says Davey Johnson. Werth agrees, apparently:
"I think at any moment this team could take off. But, again, I’m really not going to get into the doom and gloom stuff because we’ve got too many games to play. I believe in this team. I said it from the beginning. We’ve got a long way to go. We’ll be fine." (Jayson Werth, via Washington Times, 7/21/2013)

This team has become a complete joke. No point in making any moves before the trade deadline unless Superman suddenly becomes available. I'm seeing a 4th place finish just ahead of the truly pathetic marlins. Lot of questions to be answered at the end of this season. A friggin little league team could outhit these buttheads.
