Up above, Jayson Werth takes a well-deserved curtain call after his 2-run HR and 1000th career hit gave the Nats the lead against the Phillies.

Nationals 8, Phillies 5: Get on his back, boys. Jayson Werth appears to be hell-bent on pulling Nats back into the Wild Card picture all by himself (3-5, HR, 3 RBI tonight). Video of Werth's bomb here.
