Bryce Harper appeared on MLB Tonight on MLB Network after scoring the game winnning run in last night's last night's latest walk-off. Harper touched on a whole bunch of topics, and at the 3 minute mark of the interview (video above) had this exchange about the possibility of a Nationals-Orioles World Series:
Greg Amsinger: "You guys a first place team. The Baltimore Orioles a first place team. The buzz with the sport of baseball in that area the country right now. What is it?"
Harper: "Man, it would be so epic to have a Beltway World Series. Us against them. And have just an amazing crowd every single night. When we play them, it's pretty insane in both ballparks. That would be pretty incredible for that to happen. Hopefully we can both get there."
If it happens, how about Ted Lerner and Peter Angelos settle their little MASN dispute with a wager, winner takes all? Here's Harper getting ready last night, via @Nationals:
