Werth and Taylor, then Taylor and Harper, made a mess of things in the 3rd.
"How bad was this game? About as bad as you can get. It's tough to win ballgames if you can't catch the baseball..." (Matt Williams, 4/14/2015)
Red Sox 9, Nationals 4: Zimmermann bad, defense worse. But hey, at least they scored four runs?
Hopefully 2-5 is as bad as it gets? At least it's still appropriate to say "It's early."

Taylor looks timid in Center Field. I started noticing this last week against the Mets, when he played balls "safely," which Span, Werth and Harper would have tried for. Then it got worse in Fenway. We need Span Back. Taylor is intimidated with Wert on his Right and Harper on his Left. He's afraid to 'take charge.' "Oh, take him out Coach, He's not ready to play today!
Take him out Coach, He's not ready to play today!
Look at him, He can't be Centerfield!" Yet.
Thankfully for him, his bat came around in Boston.
